Important:
Salli+ is a first aid supplement for dogs. It is not intended for long-term therapies, as it contains an increased dose of salicin and thus has strong anti-aggregation effects. It is not recommended to use Salli+ with other blood-thinning agents. Organic preparations like Salli work differently than isolated synthetic substances such as ASA (acetylsalicylic acid). In the case of Salli supplements, we provide the animal with a precursor in the form of a phenolic glycoside called “salicin.” This is a complex sugar that is easily absorbed in the intestines, and only the liver metabolizes it into its active form, salicylic acid. Therefore, the therapeutic effect may take from 2 to even several hours to appear, depending on the individual metabolic rate of the dog.
